Arlington Players Club is a great place to play tennis. The clay courts are well maintained and offer a unique playing experience. The setting is tranquil even though nestled in an urban area. Nettie's Porch is a wonderful spot to relax after a game or while enjoying the lovely sight of a rainbow (see pictures)! The location is convenient by car or bus - only a short walk from Kearny Avenue. Whether you are a seasoned player or a beginner, there is a group for you. The clinics are enjoyable and helpful. If your main objective is to have fun while exercising, then this is the place for you. The social events throughout the year are welcoming and festive. APC is a hidden gem that will thrive for another 116 years!

APC has clay courts that are well maintained and a joy to play on. The club has a relaxed atmosphere and provides members with a real sense of community.

APC is a total hidden gem for clay court lovers.Tucked up on a hill in the middle of Arlington, this place feels like a secret tennis retreat. The red clay courts? Spot-on. Perfect, whether you’re grinding through a match or just out for a friendly hit. The vibe here is awesome—competitive but super welcoming. There are plenty of chances to join clinics, social matches or social events like BBQs. And then there’s Claudio, the pro with the magic touch. His lessons are fun, focused, and actually make you better (without feeling like homework). If you’re into clay court tennis, you’ll feel right at home at APC.

The oasis in Kearny and a hidden gem! Seven red clay courts with a nice clubhouse and wide open green space with lots of shade. Members are very friendly and all different levels! My daughters grew up playing here and we’ve had 3 of the top #1 and #2 girls Hudson county high school players develop from here in the last 5 years.
